The 17-7 PH stainless steel coils are precipitation-hardening alloys that typically contain around 16–18% chromium, 6.5–7.75% nickel, and 0.75–1.5% aluminum, with a carbon content of ≤ 0.09%. In their annealed state, these coils exhibit good formability and ductility, but after undergoing precipitation-hardening heat treatment, they achieve remarkable tensile strength, outstanding hardness, and excellent fatigue resistance. This material also offers solid corrosion resistance in fresh water, industrial settings, and mild marine environments, along with stability at moderately elevated temperatures.
