Stainless Steel 309S Pipe Fittings are made from a low-carbon variant of the 309 alloy, containing approximately 22–24% chromium and 12–15% nickel. This composition provides exceptional oxidation resistance and stability at elevated temperatures. The lower carbon content enhances weldability while reducing the risk of carbide precipitation. Mechanically, 309S offers high tensile and yield strength, good toughness, and reliable elongation.
