The 309LMo MIG and TIG filler wire and rod is an austenitic stainless steel alloy that contains around 23–25% chromium, 12–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, all while maintaining a very low carbon content to avoid carbide precipitation. In terms of performance, the weld deposits offer high tensile strength, excellent toughness, and outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. These filler metals guarantee stable arc performance, smooth weld bead formation, and long-lasting durability even in harsh environments.
