The 17-7 PH stainless steel tubing is crafted from a chromium-nickel-aluminum precipitation-hardening alloy, which contains about 16–18% chromium, 6.5–7.8% nickel, 0.75–1.5% aluminum, and carbon at ≤ 0.09%. In its annealed or cold-worked state, it is both ductile and formable, but after undergoing precipitation-hardening heat treatment, it achieves exceptional tensile strength, impressive hardness, and superior fatigue resistance. This tubing also provides good corrosion resistance in fresh water, industrial environments, and mild marine settings.
