Stainless Steel Welded Tubing is typically manufactured using chromium-rich alloys containing 16–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and controlled carbon levels for enhanced corrosion resistance. Some grades may include molybdenum for improved pitting and high-temperature strength. Mechanically, stainless steel welded tubing offers tensile strength between 485–620 MPa and yield strength of 170–310 MPa, depending on the grade. It features excellent hardness, good formability, and strong resistance to oxidation and stress corrosion cracking.
