Alloy 309LMo SAW wires and flux are made from austenitic stainless steel alloys, featuring around 24% chromium, 13% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, with a low carbon content to reduce carbide precipitation. The mechanical properties of the weld deposits offer high tensile strength, excellent toughness, and outstanding resistance to oxidation, pitting, and crevice corrosion. The flux is specially formulated to facilitate smooth slag removal, maintain stable arc characteristics, and ensure uniform bead formation, resulting in durable, high-quality welds that are perfect for demanding applications.
