Stainless Steel 317L Sheet and Plates are made from a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel alloy containing chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–15%), and molybdenum (3–4%) to enhance resistance to corrosion and pitting. The low carbon content prevents sensitization during welding, ensuring long-term stability and durability. These sheets and plates offer tensile strength ranging from 485–620 MPa, yield strength of 170–310 MPa, and excellent toughness and ductility. Stainless Steel 317L provides good formability, weldability, and resistance to high-temperature oxidation, making it suitable for critical industrial and chemical processing applications.
